Please plan to arrive between 7:30 am and 7:45 am on the first day of your session.

- Seating is on a first come, first serve basis and space is limited. Please register early to guarantee a spot.
- Questions regarding summer school may be directed to your child’s guidance counselor through June 10th. After June 10th, please contact the summer school office or Jim Norris at
934-5386.
- ALL LCSD SCHOOL RULES AND DRESS CODE APPLY while summer school is in session. No refunds will be given for any student who is removed from summer school for violation of school rules or dress code.
- Students should plan to take ½ credit per summer school session unless otherwise directed by their counselor. Students who need one full credit should take ½ credit during session one and ½ credit during session two unless otherwise directed by your counselor.
- Students must complete session I courses by the end of session I or an additional fee of $75.00 will apply.
- Students must complete session II courses by the end of session II or credit cannot be given for the course.
- For repeat credit, daily attendance is required until all course requirements are completed.
- Note: At the junior high level, health cannot be taken for repeat credit during summer school. If you wish to retake the LJHS health course, this must be done while attending LHS.

- Students repeating a course through summer school shall have their two grades averaged (example, original grade F = 0, new grade A = 4, average would be a C or 2 points on the grading scale OR original grade F = 0, new grade B = 3, average would be 1.5 = D. Summer school staff will report grade to guidance department and guidance department will average the student’s grade for the official transcript.
- PLEASE NOTE: Summer school attendance does not affect LCS athletic eligibility.
