Settled by early pioneers after the Revolutionary
War, Lebanon saw its first cabins in the early 1790’s.
As the Warren County seat, Lebanon today is a bustling community,
where the economic condition and outlook for the community
are positive. Encompassing nine square miles, Lebanon is home
to a diverse population of more than 16,500 people and is
primarily a bedroom community.
The Golden Lamb Inn, the Warren County Historical Society
Museum, Warren County Fairgrounds, Lebanon Raceway and Glendower
State Museum are a few of the well-known attractions within
Lebanon. Also, In Lebanon is the 125-acre, 220,000 sq. ft.
under roof, Countryside YMCA recreational complex which is
the largest in the United States right in your own backyard.
Lebanon is the site of many acclaimed cultural events such
as the Lebanon Symphony Orchestra, Apple Festival in the fall
and the Old Fashioned Christmas Street Festival in December.
Near Lebanon are attractions such as Kings Island, Caesar
Creek Lake, Fort Ancient State Park, Little Miami Bike Trail
and the Golf Center at Kings Island. Also within a short distance
are Miami University, Wright State University, the University
of Dayton, Xavier University and the University of Cincinnati.
